With Influences ranging from Silverstein to Five Finger Death Punch, Astrixion hosts a diverse metal sound similar to other melodic metal to include, Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold, Metallica, Killswitch Engage, and Bullet for My Valentine.
The song 'Reverie' is rock/metal arena style rock song that asks the listener to reflect on what's important to them. Too many people find themselves caught up in the now working and sacrificing their stress, time, and work ethic on their day jobs, video games and shallow social interactions just gratify themselves into the next day. this song captures the existential depression cultivated by that and identifies the resentment it ultimate becomes.
