Commissioned/Custom Cover Artwork for an Melodic Symphonic Metal band, Darklore (Australia), debut album release titled 'The Evil of Man'.
'The Evil of Man' opened the gateways to Oblivion and now we must stand together as one to battle our demonic foes! This Artwork is an absolute masterpiece that captures the very essence of what Darklore is all about!
Darklore are a five piece metal band hailing from Brisbane Australia bringing forth blackened hymns from both familiar and foreign realms to deliver a fresh, unique and long awaited sound.
Darklore's music is best described as a hybrid between alluring epic melodic symphonic riffing, coupled with various thrash aspects. Vocals carry the spirit and elements of black and death, whilst the lyrical content falls under dark fantasy, telling tales from popular lands such as The Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones to their very own realm of darkness.
The song 'The Evil of Man' is about a group of religious Mercenaries who travel around the world killing off Pagans or anyone who doesn’t follow or worship their god. In their journeys, they invade a new land, kill all the natives and destroy all of their buildings, alters, shrines. What the Mercenaries didn’t know is that these shrines they had destroyed were actually protective barriers which had supressed and kept the True Evil away from the world, however now that they have been broken a massive Portal to the realm of Demons had appeared and so Legions of Demons begin to come through the portal and will claim the world for their own.
